"Call me wrong but am I the only one that does not feel sorry for Lil Wayne? I mean seriously, he had a gun in his tour bus. The cops came into his tour bus and found a gun, no one would claim the gun as theirs, so they arrested the owner of the bus. Guess what? That’s what happens in the real world. He got what he deserved."
- The wonderful unbiased words of LyricalThought
How can somebody deserve to go to jail when the crime committed wasn’t on him? Sure they treated him the same way they would treat a normal civilian but I think its bullshit to just take the owner of a vechile into custody who is unaware of the crime, no matter who they are. I do feel he was wrongly targeted. It was said when the cops got on the bus they didnt even kno who Wayne was, all they kno is it was a bus full of niggas & a lil smoke they saw comin out a window, is niggas & smoke automatically probable cause to hop in somebody’s shit hasslin them, I think not. The worst part of it all is that Cortez Bryant (CM Manager) said it wasnt Wayne’s gun but wouldn’t say nothing more because it was a pending investigation. Does that means he knows who weapon it was but leaving Wayne out to dry? I dont know. Could’ve been his for all we know. But 1 thing is for certain, whoever owned the weapon should’ve man up and not let somebody take the wrap for their wrongdoings. If I was Wayne I wouldn’t have gotten shaken up into a guilty plea off of that cheap ass DNA result. They used the fastest test available and found a speck of Wayne’s DNA, and they really wasnt sure it was his because the test was slightly inconclusive. He could’ve shake them stank ass dreadlocks and got sweat on the gun for all we know. He could’ve shaken the real guilty man’s hands and that person could’ve touch the weapon afterwards. Plain and simple, the DNA evidence was shitty. That dont sound like enough to win a case, they had to have more, I mean seriously, I think anybody who has watched two episodes of Law & Order could get him off with the evidence provided. If Wayne should be guilty of anything it should be 1 count of being around cowardly niggas. I cant account for him being a nice person, & I dont think he hasnt broken the law, but I sure the justice system got him caught up for all the wrong reasons. In your unbiased opinion, What yall think?
*NOTE: I didn’t blog on that whole Gucci Mane/Soulja Boy dissin Jay situation because thats what they want you to do, garbage ass rappers.

However, unlike lyricalthought, I feel sorry for him. You obviously don’t like Wayne if you don’t feel sorry for him. He’s on the top of his game, on top of Hip Hop, and he is the head of one of the most populary record companies right now. And that’s gone for 8 months. Why? Not because he was planning on shooting someone… but because he didn’t register the gun. You really don’t feel bad for him? Everything he’s ever known is taken away from him for 8 months simply because he didn’t register a gun AND YOU DON’T FEEL AT LEAST A LITTLE BIT SORRY FOR HIM? You must not like Lil Wayne then.
I mean you know the gun laws in NY, I know the gun laws in NY and so do most people. So… uhh… why bring an unregistered gun with you? Its common sense. And as for protection… body gaurds? (Bet THEY have registered guns on them!)

" I do feel he was wrongly targeted. It was said when the cops got on the bus they didnt even kno who Wayne was"
I’ll assume you don’t mean Lil Wayne was wrongly targeted for being Lil Wayne. The bus was probably targeted because of who was on it (as a whole, not just who Weezy is), that I can basically agree with.
“Everything he’s ever known is taken away from him for 8 months simply because he didn’t register a gun AND YOU DON’T FEEL AT LEAST A LITTLE BIT SORRY FOR HIM? You must not like Lil Wayne then. "
Really…‘Dedication 3’?
“But you can’t fuck around with NY’s gun policies. That’s the bottom line.”
Exactly, if he didn’t register the gun and registering the gun is the law, well then he technically broke the gun law in NY. He’s like 27 fucking years old he should have at least some common fucking sense. (this ties in with what I stated about checking who is on his tour bus)
Also how does anyone know he, or someone else on his bus, weren’t going to use that for harm? They probably weren’t but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t going to be used for harm. Also if you go by your last part then “if you feel sorry for him you must like Lil Wayne”.
Overall I don’t really feel all that sorry for him. I would feel sorry for him because his lawyers were trash, but didn’t he hire them? I feel sorry nobody said the gun was theirs and he got in trouble for it, but that’s just the way it is. I also feel a bit sorry for him in sort of the same way I do Boosie. I don’t know whether or not Boosie had his gun registered though. Maybe this jail time will do Weezy some good.
“But you can’t fuck around with NY’s gun policies. That’s the bottom line.”
Again. Nobody can defend the ignorance displayed by not registering the gun and being that careless. Nobody is defending him as far as that goes. My point is that Wayne is one of the most popular musicians right now and he is going to jail for 8 months because he made a careless mistake. Again… does Lil Wayne deserve 8 months? Yes, he does. He broke the rules. I’m just letting you know that you misunderstood my post above. I feel sorry for him because he’s rapped his entire life and now won’t be able to do that. Not to mention he’s had 4 kids this year. That has to suck for Wayne, the women, and the kids.
You said-“It was said when the cops got on the bus they didnt even kno who Wayne was, all they kno is it was a bus full of niggas & a lil smoke they saw comin out a window, is niggas & smoke automatically probable cause to hop in somebody’s shit hasslin them, I think not.”
That statement is so indicative of our generation, that it speaks leaps and bounds about our denial and ignorance.
Are you really that foolish to believe that in NYC of all places, that a a-list entertainer should be riding thru the city with windows open blowing smoke from a tour bus, and not expect to get pulled over and searched? This is the city that sets up 24 hour surveillance on rap artist when they come to town. Wayne is a music veteran! Shouldnt he know better? once again, ur another person making excuses for a persons poor decisions.
Do i think he should go to jail from my personal perspective? NO. This rap game is vicious! Do i understand why NYC made yet another example out of a stupid entertainer? YES! If that was me…or you…we would have easily been bunked down in cell for 2 years or more! Waynes status, along with having the money to have a great attorney..got him off with a year. (shit, Plexicco burress shot his muhfuckin SELF with a pistol and got 2 years in the bing!)
I cant feel sorry for wayne, and if he wasnt a celebrity, you wouldnt either. There are everyday working people who work the night shift in NYC who carry guns for protection from the wolves in the night, who get caught and do 5 years! I have no sympathy for an entertainer who has been in the game for over a decade and should know better.
We make excuses for people like a muhfucka. Thats the worst part of hip hop.
BTW-I bet you money that wayne aint bring no gun on no bus. he took an L like a so-called G, because one of his so called goons aint wanna fess up. Now, the meal ticket is gone, and those same goons have to actually provide for themselves for a year. Talk more about that and stop blaming a crooked system for a seasoned artist’ mistakes. He should have known better..but he was keepin it ‘real’…ummmm…ok.
LMAO.you definitely live up to your name, your still a faggot tho for that.
@ moodog
sorry son, that shit was funny. but your shit was still on point.
and talk shit about rappers/celebs etc. because they dont have friends to talk to about it ..
i never really understood blogs and i dont know why i read some. I guess i do it for giggles ..because it sure as hell not because i care about what they are talking about or how they feel about somebody they see onlly on t.v or videos on the web lol
in the real world thats consider lame ..well in my world atleast
yea i feel sorry for wayne cuz none of them niggas to the rap for him
and now he gotta do the time for a crime he didnt do
thats happened to alot of people i know
and i feel sorry for anyone who go to jail for something they didnt do
i bet if joe budden bus got search and they found coke them white hoes was sniffin on there
and joe get took to jail yall would be mad as shit
I suggest simply takin whoeva into custody, doing an investigation, findin out whats really goin on, confirming the story, then going on from there. That’s called actual police work, doesnt take anyone that smart to figure that one out either.
